Beers and Abbeys
The trip
In Milan coutryside we’ll be guests of an agricultural farmhouse specialized in local beers production. We’ll have the chance to taste the beers and the season menu and to spend the night in one of the confortable rooms available. The following morning, after breakfast, we’ll visit the hop cultivation, the greenhouses and the beer production machinery. We’ll move then to Morimondo to have lunch in a traditional restaurant and to visit Morimondo Abbey. Founded around 1134 by some Saint Bernard monks, originating from Morimond on the Langres Plateau in France, this abbeys became one of the most important center of the agricultural colonization happened between 1300 and 1400. Guided visit of the abbeys and of all its apartments recently restaured.
