(7,3 km + 550 m &#8211; 20 m, 3hrs 30min)<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Overnight stay in a farmhouse, inn, or guesthouse<\/div>\n<p><strong>Day 2 \u2013 From Cascina dei Prapien to Bocchetto Sessera<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>We continue our ascent towards Rocca d&#8217;Argimonia and Bocchetta di Luvera, in the heart of the Oasi Zegna Nature Reserve. Crossing the mountain pass, we make a brief excursion into the upper Sessera Valley, enjoying magnificent alpine scenery and views of Monte Rosa and other peaks.  <br \/>From Alpe Moncerchio we descend to Bocchetto Sessera, a mountain pass traditionally used for seasonal livestock migration (9,5 km + 540 &#8211; 150 &#8211; 3hrs 45min)<\/div>\n<div>Overnight stay in a farmhouse, inn, or guesthouse<\/div>\n<p><strong>Day 3 \u2013 From Bocchetto Sessera to the Sanctuary of San Giovanni d&#8217;Andorno<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>Descending through mountain pastures, we follow trails to the small villages of the Cervo Valley, perched on steep ridges and surrounded by dense forests. After reaching the valley floor, we continue along a historic mule track climbing to the sanctuary, one of the few dedicated to Saint John the Baptist (12,7 km + 530 m &#8211; 850 m, 4hrs 30min) <\/div>\n<div>Overnight stay in a farmhouse, inn, or guesthouse<\/div>\n<p><strong>Day 4 \u2013 From the Sanctuary of San Giovanni d&#8217;Andorno to Oropa<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>We tackle the ascent to Colle della Colma, partly following the winding road commissioned in 1895 by Senator Federico Rosazza to connect the upper Cervo Valley with Oropa. Emerging from the tunnel, the sanctuary comes into view.
