A four-day journey through the most important sanctuaries associated with Saint Francis of Assisi, exploring the places where the beloved saint lived, prayed, and left an enduring spiritual legacy. In the Rieti Valley, a group of sanctuaries marks some of the most significant moments in the life of Saint Francis. Among them is Greccio, renowned as the birthplace of the first Nativity Scene. Over the course of four unforgettable days, we will discover a fascinating and inspiring side of Saint Francis, while enjoying the beauty, spirituality, and tranquillity of the surrounding landscapes. The itinerary also offers the opportunity to experience some of the region’s most remarkable natural and cultural attractions, including the spectacular Marmore Falls, originally engineered by the Romans and today considered the highest man-made waterfall in Europe. From the Certosa of Florence to Lucignano, a jewel nestled in the Valdichiana and listed among Italy’s Most Beautiful Villages, the journey combines history, art, nature, and spirituality in an atmosphere of peace, reflection, and fellowship.
