Starting from the A2A dam on the Adda River, you will climb the slopes of the Rhaetian side of the valley, following a trail that winds through the first terraced fields. Along the way, you will pass the ancient dry-stone walls, known locally as murache, which shape and support the terraces.
Upon reaching the meeting point, you will discover the story of an ambitious restoration project that has brought back to life nearly 40,000 square metres of land, now cultivated with olive trees and hazelnut groves.
A project born from passion, commitment, and respect for the landscape. You will learn about the history of this unique place and witness firsthand the work undertaken to restore and preserve it. A remarkable example of sustainable agriculture and local heritage enhancement. But the experience does not end there. 14.30 (during the spring and autumn seasons) Meeting at the cooperative’s warehouse courtyard, welcome of participants, introduction to the guide, the cooperative, and the project, followed by participant introductions.
14.45 Beginning of the excursion towards the terraced hillsides to discover the olive groves and their remarkable story.
15:45 After the visit to the olive groves, descent towards the tasting venue.
16.00 After the visit to the olive groves, descent towards the tasting venue.
16.30 End of the experience and farewell.
