Day 1 – ITALY – CUBA
Departure from Italy on a flight to Havana.
Arrival in the late afternoon.
Transfer to the hotel and check-in.
Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 – HAVANA
Breakfast at the casa particular.
Departure for San Francisco de Paula, home to Finca Vigía, the house where Ernest Hemingway lived for nearly twenty years.
Continue to the historic centre of Havana, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982 and considered the largest colonial centre in Latin America.
Walking tour including Plaza de la Catedral, La Bodeguita del Medio, Calle de los Oficios, Plaza de Armas, Calle Mercaderes, Plaza Vieja, and Plaza San Francisco de Asís. Stop for a Mojito tasting, offered by Betania Travel.
Visit to the Rum Museum to discover the production process and enjoy a tasting.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, panoramic visit of the Capitolio, Parque Central, and stop at the famous Floridita Bar for a Daiquiri tasting, also offered by Betania Travel.
Continuation to Plaza de la Revolución and visit to the Handicraft Museum. Return to the hotel via the iconic Malecón waterfront.
Dinner in the city and overnight stay.
Day 3– LA HABANA – VIÑALES
After breakfast, visit the National Art Schools and meet students and teachers to learn about Cuba’s important artistic heritage.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Experience: Transfer to Viñales with a stop at Las Terrazas, Cuba’s most significant sustainable rural development project.
Guided tour of the eco-village located within the Sierra del Rosario Biosphere Reserve.
Arrival in Viñales, a charming town set among limestone mogotes and extraordinary landscapes recognized by UNESCO as a Cultural Landscape of Humanity.
Dinner and overnight stay in a casa particular.
Day 4– VIÑALES – MATANZAS
Morning visit to a coffee plantation and meeting with local farmers to discover the entire coffee production process. Continue to the Cueva del Indio, a remarkable cave system partially explored by boat along an underground river.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Experience: Visit to the Agroecological Farm “El Olivo”, an innovative project created by young farmer Osnel Corrales, specializing in artisan goat cheese production.
Return to Havana.
Dinner in the city and overnight stay.
Day 5– MATANZAS – CIENFUEGOS – TRINIDAD
Breakfast and departure for Cienfuegos, Cuba’s only city founded by French settlers from Louisiana.
Panoramic visit of the City Hall, Tomás Terry Theatre, Cathedral of the Purísima Concepción, and Palacio Ferrer.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Departure for Trinidad.
Arrival and guided tour of one of Cuba’s oldest colonial cities, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit to the Romantic Museum (Palacio Brunet) and stroll through the historic centre and artisan market.
Enjoy an aperitif at La Canchánchara, famous for its traditional drink made with aguardiente, honey, and lime.

Dinner in the city and overnight stay.
Day 6 – TRINIDAD – SANTA CLARA – VARADERO
Breakfast and departure for Santa Clara.

Lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to Varadero.
